1. This is satire
HolyHODL (“the Site”) is a satirical, humorous entertainment project. It is not a religion, church, financial service, exchange, investment product, game of chance or prediction service. Its temple language is a joke.
2. No financial advice, no guarantees
Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Wishes, “omens” and any other content have no effect on the price of any asset, and the operator makes no promise that any wish will come true or any outcome occur.
3. Making a wish is free
You do not need to send any crypto to make a wish. A wish is treated exactly the same whether or not you donate.
4. Donations
You may, entirely at your own discretion, send a small amount of crypto to a donation address shown on the Site. Donations are voluntary gifts. They are not payment for any service, product, outcome or favor, they create no contract and no expectation of anything in return, and they are final and non-refundable. Crypto transactions are irreversible: check the address and network, and only donate what you would not miss. Donations to the wrong address or network cannot be recovered by the operator. Do not donate if you are under 18 or if crypto donations are not lawful where you live.
5. Wishes and your content
Wishes must concern crypto assets. Do not post anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing, misleading, or containing personal data of others, scams or promotion of other products. Revealed wishes are public and may be reviewed and removed by the operator at any time. Folded wishes are not shown to other visitors, but the operator can access them. The operator may remove any wish at any time without notice. By posting, you grant the operator a non-exclusive licence to display your revealed wish on the Site.
6. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 and legally able to use the Site. You are responsible for complying with the laws that apply to you, including tax rules for any crypto you hold or send.
7. Liability
The Site is provided “as is”, without warranties. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any loss, including losses from trading decisions, mistaken or misdirected transactions, or unavailability of the Site. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Changes and law
These Terms may be updated by posting a new version here. They are governed by the law of [COUNTRY], and courts there have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights you have.
