Privacy Notice

What we collect
When you submit a wish we store: the wish text, the coin you chose, whether it is revealed or folded, the name or handle you typed (or “Anonymous Hodler”), an optional transaction ID if you provide one, and a timestamp. To limit abuse we also keep a hashed (scrambled) form of your IP address for up to one hour to count how many wishes you make; we do not store the plain address in our own data. Do not put personal information in your wish or name.
Why, and on what basis
To display the wall of wishes and run the Site (our legitimate interest, and your request when you submit), and to prevent abuse (legitimate interest).
Who sees it
Revealed wishes, with the name or handle you chose, are public. Folded wishes are never shown to other visitors, but the operator can access them. A transaction ID is stored for the operator only and is not displayed. Our web host, IONOS, processes server logs (such as IP address and request time) as our hosting provider. We do not sell data and do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies. Your browser’s session storage remembers for the current visit that you have seen the welcome notice. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address.
Retention
Wishes are kept until removed. Hashed IP data is deleted after about an hour.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR) you may ask to access, correct or delete your wish, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. Email [CONTACT EMAIL] with enough detail to find the wish (coin, text, approximate time). Wishes are not linked to blockchain data, but note that any crypto transaction you make is public and permanent on its blockchain and cannot be erased by us.
Children
The Site is not for anyone under 18.
